Built for adult learners

Serious progress that fits around a full life

  • Just you and your teacher

Ask anything and make mistakes without an audience. Lessons are private from the first minute.

  • Evenings and weekends

Regular slots in your time zone, planned around work, family and prayer times.

  • Start where you are

Complete beginner, rusty reader or ready for Hifz. The free lesson places you at the right level.

  • Fix habits, not just learn rules

Live correction catches the small pronunciation habits that apps and self-study miss.

  • Clear explanations

Lessons in English, Urdu and Arabic, so nothing is lost in translation.

  • Understand what you recite

Add word-by-word meaning and Quranic Arabic whenever you are ready.

Starting later in life

Never learned as a child? You are not behind.

Plenty of adults never had the chance to learn properly, or learned to read without Tajweed and now want to get it right. Both are a normal place to start.

The Prophet ﷺ said that the person who recites the Quran with difficulty, stumbling through it, receives a double reward (Sahih Muslim 798). Every lesson you take counts, including the slow ones.

  • No group, no audience, no judgement
  • Short lessons that fit a working week
  • Clear next steps after every lesson

Your pathway

From the alphabet to confident recitation

Adults usually move faster through the early stages. Your free lesson shows where you start.

  1. Letters and sounds

The Arabic alphabet, exact pronunciation and vowel marks, taught with the Noorani Qaida.

    Often 1–3 months

  2. Fluent reading

Reading from the Mushaf with growing speed and accuracy.

    Often 3–6 months

  3. Tajweed

The rules of recitation applied in your own reading, not just memorized as theory.

    Alongside reading

  4. Hifz or meaning

Memorize with a revision system, or study Quranic Arabic to understand what you recite.

Who teaches the lessons?

Every lesson is taught by Mufti Muhammad Areeb, the founder of Tarteel ul Quran. He also teaches Islamic studies at university level. You will not be passed between different tutors.

What are your class fees?

Plans start at $39/month for {{starting_frequency}}. All plans include 1-on-1 sessions with a certified tutor — see the Pricing section above for the full breakdown.

Are the classes one-on-one?

Yes. Every lesson is live and one-on-one: one teacher and one learner. Siblings each have their own lessons, usually back to back, so every child gets full attention.

What timings are available?

We schedule classes across most timezones, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, so you can pick a slot that fits your family’s routine.

How do online Quran classes work?

You meet your teacher on Zoom for a live 30-minute lesson. The Qaida or Mushaf is shared on screen, your teacher listens as you read and corrects each sound as it happens, and you finish with a short note on what to practise.

What devices do I need?

Any laptop, tablet or smartphone with a camera, microphone and stable internet connection works. Classes run over Zoom — no special software needed.

Is the trial lesson really free?

Yes. The first 30-minute lesson is free and you do not need a card or any payment details to book it. You only pay if you decide to continue.

Is the trial class really free?

Yes. The trial is a full, live class with a real tutor — not a demo video. There’s no payment required to book or attend it.

Which countries do you teach in?

Any country with a stable internet connection. Times are arranged in your own time zone, whether you are in the UK, the US, Canada, Europe, Australia or the Gulf.

How do you ensure my child’s safety online?

Every tutor is background-verified before teaching. Parents can join or observe any class, and progress reports keep you informed between sessions.
